About This CME Teaching Activity
This activity is designed to provide a practical review of neuropathology, OB/GYN and dermatopathology. Topics include a review of basic to advanced techniques, pitfalls and pearls to pathologic diagnosis. Interactive case reviews emphasize points made throughout the program.

  • Identify and classify CNS neoplasms and non-neoplastic mimics.
  • Review CNS embryonal tumors.
  • Achieve a deeper understanding of myxoid tumors.
  • Discuss the pitfalls associated with melanocytic tumor diagnosis.
  • Review clinicopathologic correlation in inflammatory skin disease.
  • Evaluate difficult endometrial biopsies.
  • Review molecular updates in gynecologic cancers.
  • Evaluate vulvar and vaginal biopsies.
  • Achieve a greater understanding of products of conception, gestational trophoblastic and placental disease.
  • Better understand intraoperative gynecology consultations.
  • Review fibroblastic and fibrohistiocytic tumors.
  • Better understand glandular lesions of the cervix.
