Breathing Easy at Sea: Practical Updates in Pulmonary Medicine

This activity is designed for primary care physicians, internists, family medicine physicians, hospitalists, advanced practice providers, pulmonologists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients with respiratory diseases.

Attendees should, at the completion of this course, be able to:

• Develop evidence-based diagnostic approaches for common pulmonary complaints, including chronic cough, dyspnea, wheezing, and recurrent respiratory infections.
• Differentiate pulmonary diseases that mimic common respiratory conditions and avoid common diagnostic pitfalls.
• Apply current recommendations for lung cancer screening, pulmonary nodule evaluation, and management of incidental thoracic imaging findings.
• Incorporate contemporary management strategies for asthma, COPD, bronchiectasis, and post-COVID pulmonary disease into clinical practice.
• Recognize emerging epidemiologic trends and clinical presentations of endemic fungal infections, including coccidioidomycosis.
• Optimize inhaler selection and respiratory therapeutics using a patient-centered approach.

If your registration cannot be accepted, you will be issued a full tuition refund.
