CRUISE REGISTRATION


Deposits: 20% of the total per person cruise fare is required. All deposits are due to Princess Cruises at time of booking.

Final Payment Due: 75 days prior to departure.

Transfers: Transfers are not included. Guests can purchase transfers through Princess Cruises at a nominal fee. Guests purchasing transfers that have made their own air arrangements need to provide their air itinerary to Princess Cruises at least 35 days prior to sailing.

About the Course
This course provides a broad overview of breast imaging including screening basics, specialized views, interventions and advanced imaging techniques. Focus is placed on the applications of tomosynthesis, breast cancer assessment and management and the recent updates to the BI-RADS(R) lexicon. Screening guidelines, imaging the young patient, male patient, and ductography are also discussed. The course includes detailed case reviews to test skills learned and emphasize the lectures.

Target Audience
The course is designed for practicing radiologists who wish a comprehensive review and update of breast imaging and breast interventions.  The course is also appropriate for radiology residents, fellows, and nurses involved in breast imaging.

Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this activity participants should be able to:
  • Review changes to the ACR BI-RADS® lexicon.
  • Evaluate the controversy in high risk screening.
  • Describe the role of breast core biopsy and imaging histologic correlation in evaluating suspicious breast imaging findings.
  • Discuss current issues in the management of breast cancer particularly in patients under 40 years of age.
  • Explain new technologies in breast imaging including full field digital mammography, digital breast tomosynthesis, ultrasound, and MRI.
No special educational preparation is required for this CME activity.
